Today was probably the most relaxing day of the whole tour - it felt almost close to the felucca feeling! Maybe a little less atmospheric but in exchange we had proper beds and bathrooms accessible. We had the choice what we wanted to do today and most people went diving. I decided to take it slow and continue my recovery from the days in the desert, so I spent my morning two hours reading on the beach. Afterwards I went to an internet cafe and tried to catch up with my diary, which -already at this point- became hopeless. (In the meantime I am used to be +/- a week behind...) I was at the cafe for hours, only interrupting my journal for another Thick Shake for lunch (yesterday it was Banana-Chocolate, today it's Mango time). I ended my day writing and chilling out at the hotel waterfront. At night, we went for dinner with the whole group because this was our last evening altogether, as only Sarah, Damian, Andrea and I are doing the full 3-weeks tour. All the others booked only a part of it which actually ends after 2 weeks. Felicity planned to stay in Dahab for a diving course; for everybody else it was the end of their vacation. So this evening was fun but also a little sad, as we all got to know each other over the past weeks, got along very well, and had literally climbed moun-tains and crossed a desert together. Many of us faced quite a few of their fears on the way but the help and support we got from each other was tremendous. Plus we had so much fun! Such experience truly creates a strong team spirit.
